Business school is also known by many names. There’s biz school, b-school, school of business, school of business administration or school management. With all those names there some much that your could do with a business degree.

A business degree itself is not just a one way street. The opportunities are endless. You would learn a variety of subjects. It would usually depending on what you want to concentrate your degree on.

Accounting, for example, is much more than just bookkeeping and crunching numbers into a calculator. You would learn abut tax law, make balance sheets and use GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles.)

Business administration major would learn how to be a leader. If this student of this major wants to go to graduate, you would graduate with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Human resource management and international business are a couple of things that this major teaches.

The finance concentration will teach you how to propose, oversee and evaluate fiscal and budgetary conditions different businesses. Econometrics, investment and statistics are some of the courses that a finance major would apply in there future career.

Marketing majors will study supply and demand, advertising and market research. Because we in a digital age, e-marketing is one of the courses you would take in college/university. Courses in marketing, retail, and sales are part of the curriculum in this major.
